Is it so important to join both side of the gantry under the table. I have a 72 inches router table made of aluminum. Both sides of the gantry are linked under the table. Have dual screw with one nema34 1200 oz per screw. One of my problem is the table top is built with aluminum extrusion and flex a bit since it is not supported but at both ends. Cannot add legs under the table since there is a link between gantry. What is opinion, more rigid table or joined gantry. Jeff |

| Could you post a picture of your setup? But i'd say as you are driving the gantry with duel screw you do not need to tie it under the table, if you are having problems with the side of the gantry splaying out then you need to beef up the gantry sides. This will then allow you to beef up support to the table. rob

| The benefit of dual motors is that you don't have to join the sides under the table. Go for the more rigid table.
