Im looking for an inexpensive way to do the slides on my machine...I am just in the designing stage. I know that cheap dosent mean high quality but im looking for idea for keeping the cost of the build down. I'd like to have 18" on Y, 12" on Z and a min of 18" on X. I will probably use 1/4-20 threaded rod and an improvised nut system. Im using nema 17 motors and the tb6560 board. I am looking to cut wood, plastic and foam. |

| You could check these posts here.... http://www.cnczone.com/forums/diy-cn...achine-44.html Cheap sometimes works Great and the size you want will work very well with brass tubes from most hobby shops. Hope that's useful... ![]() John |
