Was looking for some inspiration for the rebuild, wanted something a little more space friendly for a desktop CNC build... Ran across this one, which has those gears in my head turning, and maybe clicking a few mouse buttons in sketchup (easier/faster for feeling out a layout) RedBlueCNC  The layout is intriguing to me for a little desktop setup - but I see considerable trouble with the slides and keeping the gantry aligned on the longer term... Any thoughts on how to make this design a little more robust on a downscaled revision? Assuming I decide to pirate his idea   |
