To The Demigods, Gurus, Mortals of CNCZone, I've finally started ordering the parts for my 3 axis (hopefully upgradeable to 4 axis) machine. Which means from now on, I'll be asking you guys some extremely stoopid questions ; so please bear with me and thanks in adv.The XTravel and the YTravel of my machine is 2400mm(~94.5") and 1600mm(~63") respectively. I am planning to use the Gecko G210 for the X axis since I've read somewhere that if more number of pulses need to be sent, then the G210 is preferred over the G201. My question is, should I use a G210 for the Y axis as well, or can I get away using a G201? Thanks again. PS: Not sure if this thread should be here or in the GeckoDrives forum. |
