I intend to use the end result of my experiments to control my American Tool Works Machinist Lathe (circa 1910 +/- 10a) as there are some broken drive pieces. Specifically the cross linkage.

May have been used in wrong context but a word none the less forwards - definition of forwards by the Free Online Dictionary, Thesaurus and Encyclopedia.

No, I can't take credit for it, it is based on this Instructable by (CNCZone Member) Murray.
It gives me a starting point for my experiments...
