I just bought a NC panel saw, there were 2 available and the guy who bought the other one is scraping it. There is a ton of goodies on them including what i believe to be at lease 1.5" maybe 2" thomson rail's that is aprox. 18' long each. There are 2 bearings per side(4 total), and are in good shape. We are in denver and i will pick them up for the guy if someone wants them. Could make a bad ass x axis. let me know and we can talk. not posted in classified bc i am not trying to sell it, just want to help someone. - Jonathon |

Jonathan, Those must be some amazing panel saws with 18' rails! I sent you a personal message. I am interested and surprised there are not 100 posted replies. My design (I started a thread a couple days back - New Machine Build - CNC Beast) will be big. Once I saw this post I started considering expanding it to 18' long but I think good discretion dictates otherwise. Are these rails on supports, the ones where there is a pedestal that goes along the full length of the rail? Thanks, Andy |
