DIY CNC Event in Houston

TX/RX Labs, Houston's (Texas) Hackerspace is holding a Demo Series every Friday 7-11pm in March. March 18th is DIY CNC night with free bar-b-q and drinks. Come out and meet with some other diy cnc enthusiasts check out our work, discuss your own projects and learn about what the Hackerspace has to offer.

Other events during march are 3d printing, arduino projects and multitouch surfaces.

Free TI Launchpad Dev kits will be given away as door prizes!

Cool and thanks for the heads up. Not to steal the thread but Houston also has the Houstex convention on April 18-20th at George R Brown. I am not a machinist or involved in the trade, only a hobbyist so the exposure to the big boys toys was an eye opener for sure. I just went and looked at your site and made a small donation. I cant wait to go to a meeting and find the other strange people in town who stay up all night in their garages. Anyway thanks again.
