Have been lurking here for a while trying to get better educated. I have done a quick sketch in rhino of a machine built from 150 x 80 x 7mm ally channel. I have the y axis at 1500mm and the x at 1000 as the beam will go to a bigger table later. It will be mostly bolt together with a little electric glue in some spots. I would realy appreciate if anyone can offer any thoughts on it. Too much Flex? I have shown 20mm round rails for X but would use larger, just too lazy to sketch the bigger one as well. How do they work mounted inverted like i have drawn? No need to be gentle with the critisim Mike ![]() ![]() |
