I'm trying to set the resistor value for my g540 dive. My motors are used and I have no documentations. How would you determine the resistor value in such a case?

One way is start with say a 1K resistor for a 1A current limit. Try it on one motor and run it for a while then check the motor temp. If it's not too hot, work your way up to 3.7K for max current.

Remember, the resistor goes on the G540 end of the cable.

Good idea. Thanks. I have the EZg540 coming soon that has a pot so should be very easy.
