Hi All, I would like to add spindle to my machine. I thought about keling KL-2200 with KL-VFD22 ( Services ). I also read about Chinese spindle which I think I read several post here in the forum but I'm not sure since the links to ebay are not available anymore (this is what I found: WATER-COOLE MOTOR SPINDLE 3KW AND MATCHING INVERTER b - eBay (item 370399576231 end time Jan-17-11 08:42:31 PST) ). Does anyone experienced with this products and can tell about it reliability? In addition, does anyone have diagram or can explain how to wire the spindle to the VFD and to the computer. Currently I am using C10 breakout board with KL4030 drivers from keling. If you can recommend about different spindles model it is great (please remember I'm short with cash). BTW does anyone can recommend about CNC store at Austin Texas that sell this stuff? BR, Amir |

| Terminal: R,S,T are the input power from the wall with a disconnect switch / circuit breaker. This looks like a 3 phase input. Make sure it can run on a single phase if your planning to use it in home / hobby use (ie if you don't know for sure you have 3 phase more than likely you do not) VR, VI, ACM these got to a variable resistor to set the speed of the motor AI looks to be a indicator lamp but best to check the manual for what that is FOR, REV, SPH, SPM, SPL, RST are all input switches with DCM as the common terminal. (forward reverse and guessing speed preset high medium low and reset) RS+ and RS- are unknown (see manual) AM ACM are a 0-10V output looks to be for the speed meter KA KB EV FC FA FB DRV UPF DCM are all outputs of various types. I bet they are programable (see manual) U V W are the connections to the motor P Pr are connections to the breaking resistor. This is where all the energy is dumped when slowing down or stopping the spindle. Most inverters this is a option. If you don't have a breaking resistor installed you spindle will coast to a stop. Depending on the mass and bearing this can take a REALLY long time. Would need more details on your application and a manual for this inverter to give any more details on the hookup. |

| Best bet is to email the seller and see if they can send you a PDF of the manual. Or a link to it. |
