Hi all, I'm entering directly into a 2700mm by 1000mm X-Y table design. This is my first machine build of this type. I have a basic layout done and wanted to know if anyone see's any issues or suggestions. The spindle will be mounted on top of the Y - 1000mm stage pointing up. Here the product is held above the machine and the product's lower surface is machined. I want to run cutting speeds upto 7m/min. I have a heavy solid steel base, 1500mm by 850mm by 20mm to mount the slides on. Thanks for all input !! Joe Ireland |
