wondering if anybody has good sources for some high torque couplings. i have a 1200 oz in (8.5 n m) stepper with a 1/2" (12.7 mm) shaft. and 2 570 oz in (4 n m) with 3/8" (9.5mm) shaft i am having trouble finding any. i have found a few but not in the right shaft size. i was looking at stainless helical couplers or something comparable. thanks for any help. |

I think you might be mixing your units. You said your big motor was 1200 oz in. That's only 75 lb in. Right?

| 556 in lb. is 8900 oz-in, probably 10 times stronger than you need. Check McMaster Carr.
