Bearing blocks for ball screws

I started this CNC build idea with the notion of using Acme screws, but the price of a ball screw setup from Roton, has gotten me going down that path. For those using ball screws, what do you use for your bearing blocks? Do you make your own or is there a relatively inexpensive option like the CNC router parts Acme bearing block and cover?

Google "ebay linearmotionbearings" (an ebay store)

He offers ballscrews with the nuts and endblocks.

This is probably where I'll pick up my linear motion parts even though I'd prefer linear guides than shaft rails.

take a look at his items - I think he might also do custom lengths.

I've been lurking for a few years - I've gotta start building sooner or later...

Be aware that Roton's ballscrews will have some backlash. The Ebay screws may be a better choice.

The Guy is called Chai and I have bought loads of ballscrews from him, he will machine to any length and the quality of both machining and screws is good considering the low price. Will supply with BK/BF end blocks complete with locking nuts which basicly make it a simple bolt on affair.

Just email him the sizes and where in the world to ship, tell him you want them machined and he will quote complete with shipping. I think you'll be surprised just how cheap he is.?

Edit: I've dealt with Chai for nearly 2yrs and have had issue's with VFD's etc (nevar had a faulty or bent screw) and he's always sorted any issue's so you can trust the guy 100% and fast delivery (to uk from day ordered to my shop complete with machining 12days)
