sign software/cnc

is it possible too configer vinyl master pro sign software
to run a cnc machine?
vpm has a lest of machine to choose from.
is there a machine in the lest that will emulate a cnc or an
engraver?

Which version of the software are you using? I think the newer version can make G-code for a machine. But I don't think it will work as a controller software.

You can probably generate the hpgl, dmpl, or gpgl code and edit it to work. You might even be able to get the post processor in VM to do that for you. Most plotters, that I know of, has a brain. So all you do is dump the file to the plotter and it starts cutting. Do you have a cnc machine and what are you using for it's brain(software)? Also what do you hope to be able to make?

i have no software.
thats why i would like to run
it from my sign program if i can.
my cnc is a home made one.

You'll have to edit the Z and all the feed rates as well as some other things in each file. It can be done. It usually doesn't take long to get tired of that. Cut2D or CamBam would be good place to start without spending thousands.
Also there is dxf2gcode that's free.

If you are serious about sign work, Vectric's V-Varve Pro is the way to go. More time sign making and less time learning software.

of all the plotters in the lest
witch one would be the easiest to modify?
