This seems like a great little machine and I'm very excited about this build. It will take me a few months to finish, but I have my parts being cut right now. However, I need to construct a bed. I'm making the gantry and such out of PVC and it is being CNCed for me. I'm not sure if I should build a PVC bed as well. The instructions call for .5" MDF with glued spans between all the braces. I don't think PVC gluing all my spans is a good plan. But I could be wrong. Does anyone else have suggestions? It is a 24"x30"x2.5" bed. I even thought about just stacking five pieces of .5" PVC on top of each other. It's a lot of material though. And heavy. Not that I'll be moving it. |
