| Dean good name that. ![]() I haven't got experience with this kit but I have used several of there other products and they are spot on, Roy is a very helpfull bloke. I suspect thou this kit is designed to run serial connection not parallel due to the fact the driver is only 2.5A and the motor is 3nm. To run parallel you would need more like 4A driver for a 3nm motor. What size machine do you intend building or have you built.? Motors connected serial will run out of torque sooner than parallel connected motors but will run cooler, Most people tend to run parallel due to the higher torque. If you haven't built or designed the machine yet i wouldn't go rushing into buying motors and drivers untill you know more about the weight and forces you will have to move and the speeds you would idealy like from the machine. The way you build the machine and the components used will all play a part in choosing the right motor/driver package also sizing the power supply is very important for best motor/speed performance. hope this helps Regards Dean. |
