| Hi I'm working on a rigid gantry machine that will be made mostly from alu profiles. I intend to fill the hollows of the profiles with resin or cement to maximize their stiffness. I am open to suggestions on this. I aim to use profiles that come in two varieties: ![]() As the filling should be stiffer than the alu I'm thinking that I should go with the L variety for greater total stiffness. Is this plausible? The L profiles are also much cheaper. |
