Need a z axis assembly

Hey guys,
It's time to upgrade my z-axis carridge. I was wondering if there are any suggestions on any companies that make a z axis linear system that I could buy and use my nema stepper motor on.

Take a look at K2CNC's Z axis offerings here to see if they have anything of interest to you.

Thanks for the link. I'm trying to find something that has supported linear bearings like THK or something.

Ok, don't remember where any of those are, but I'm sure there are others here that know where to look.

A word of warning: that supplier has a long backlog at the moment but a good deal if you're very patient. There's also an ebay seller '80servo', search under 'linear actuator'.

Has anyone used the Dunkermotor BG40 brushless servo motors?
I aim to build a light duty but precise router table, and have picked up two of these in surplus store with metal epicyclic g/boxes and piggyback controllers. Where do I go from here to drive these from a PC running Mach3D?

Any comments will be much appreciated.

What is your price range?

I went with the K2 setup. They DO make a ballscrew and supported rails version on ebay, and on there website.

Ya I saw his auctions. He only has 4" travel and 12" travel. I thought about buying a 12" travel and cutting it down to what I need, but Im trying to keep from having to fab stuff. I have to keep reminding myself that I want to make parts WITH my cnc machine, not FOR my cnc machine

i have the 8INCH travel Z axis in THK and Hiwin , but its about 2 weeks till i have more for sale , all the ones i have now are going with machines , but will have in stock in 2 weeks

They also come with motor mount for NEMA 23
