Does anyone have any experience building a CNC router using Ultralite MDF? I've used it a lot over the years for props and set construction and have found it to be rigid, dimensionally stable and strong, but it's considerably lighter than regular MDF and cuts like butter. I'm wondering how it might hold up for a CNC machine? |

| It's too soft. I used it for my gantry sides, and bolts sink right into it when tightening them. As has been mentioned, heavier is better.
