| The pretty ones! Now, would you like to tell the class what you plan to do with these ball screws? Specifically, how much weight / mass you will be moving, what dimensional resolution you plan to achieve, how will you be driving the screw, how fast (in I.P.M) you want to be able to drive your axes? |

| I wanted to find out what size ball screws were the same size (or close to the same size) of 3/4-6 acme screws being driven with 425oz stepper motors (xylotex 3 axis kit) I use this to cut 3/16 brass sheet at about 20ipm at a depth of .02 And how to input that information into Mach3. I was wondering if it was worth the effort then I realised I didn't have enough information to ask the question only after pushing the post quick reply button. |
