Whats this stuff worth?

Hey guys I need some advice.

I was given a 2-axis water jet machine (missing all of the water jet components) and was planning on making a 3-axis router but have been so busy that I have not had time to do anything with it.

What do you think the Linear bearing, y-axis, ball screw, stepper motor, wire looms (the black flexible ones pictured with the stepper motor) would be worth? I have someone interested and am not sure what to let it go for????

Any advice would be very helpful... The person is coming tonight to look at the stuff.

Thanks for your help guys,
-Marq

Here are some pics of the stuff......
(I did not get the blue steel frame just the bearings and motors)

The setup has 2 stepper motors (one is attached to the y-axis):
-Vexta 2-phase, 1.8*/step, 4 amp, 0.75 ohm, model number PH299-E4.0

-ISEL-Automation 2-phase, 1.8*/step, 2.8v, 2.8 amp (uni), 4 amp (bi), model number 473030
It is listed as having 110 Ncm torque output.

-Enclosed y-axis (4 ft 10 in long) with attached stepper motor

and a 5.5 foot long ball screw

-Two 6.5 foot linear bearings with 4 pillow blocks
A long time ago I found bearing manufacture ..... they are made my Isel. They are their series 1 bearings and can be found here:

It's hard to say

If everything's in good working condition it might be worth $500 or so to someone looking to build a router. But if the ball-nuts are messed up, or the rails are dinged, the motors are bad, etc. it would be worth less. What's that table made of - solid aluminum 2" thick? If so, the value goes up a bit.

Everything was working when I took the machine apart..... I was not given the water jet components because they were used on the upgraded machine they built to replace this one.

As for the aluminum table (actually a water tank/reservoir) it was super thin aluminum that was not worth taking so I think it was recycled..... But I did take all of the aluminum square channel you can see holding the water tank in the pic.

The steppers are old style, weak ones compared to new ones. The stand will need bracing as a router puts out more forces. You would get more money parting it out. I would pay $300 and walk from $500. That's just me, but used is used, and old tech might work for low cutting forces of a water jet, but not for a router. By the time you upgrade everything else, there isn't that much savings.

I paid $300 for a similarly sized y axis. But mine is almost new looking and has ground ballscrew. I'd pay $200 for something like yours. But other than the y axis, and possibly the matching rails, I'm not sure I'd want the rest of the stuff.
