Is any of you own RMS Technologies R701 and if you do can you send me a sketch of how you connected it to the breakout board I can’t get my motors to work with my configuration although it seems that they get energized but no movement |

| If the motors lock up, then they are probably wired correctly to the BOB. This sounds like the board is either defective, or not receiving step/direction signals. Check your parallel port. (Can you print to a printer with it?) Make sure that your parallel cable is a "straight thru" type. Try a different computer. This is from the docs: The Motor is in Holding Position, but does not rotate: This means that Power is being supplied to the driver and motor, so the power supply is OK. However, the signal generator might be causing the problem. Try changing the signal to TTL. If this doesn't help, is the external +5 VDC Power connected? CR.

| It looks like your driver is not getting step signal. Check the pin config at Mach whether they are correct. |
