What are some of the word you guys are putting in the search to find gearboxes, belt drives or long ball screws?

Lately there hasn't been a whole lot ballscrews and such on ebay

when searching keep it simple at first ballscrew, ball screw, leadscrew
you can always narrow down the search, ballscrew + nut etc

sometimes the people listing don't refer to the item to as belt drive or timing belt, they'll list it as a pulley

same goes for gearbox, might be listed as "10:1 reducer"
try ratio, gear box, gearbox, gear etc

make sure you add an "s" when you search. Ballscrew, ballscrews...

... Set up your searches based on most recent items posted... (saves a lot of time looking at things you already saw while looking for auctions that were placed in based on duration of auction...

You ebay guys must spend hours searching...
Copy and paste the code below into the search bar just as it is with all brackets.

(Ballscrew*, ball screw*, lead screw*, leadscrew*) -point -pen


(gear box*, gearbox*, reducer*)

Use the ( and ) to enclose entire search strings seperate by commas. Use the * to denote wild card character..
Searching for Gear Reducer will not return Gear Reducers.. On the other hand, searching for a Gear reducers will not always return the Gear Reducer.. Thus, we use a wildcard character..
Use the - to reject anything with that word..

I have been searching:
servo
thk
ballscrew
ball screw
encoder

and more, sometimes I search within the description, a little check box. If I see something that comes up a lot that I dont want in my search I put something like this:

-mityuto

which comes up a lot in my encoder searches within the description.

lots of people selling these kind of things add stuff like cnc and ballscrew and stuff like that to the title just to get more hits.
