| No, the drill is 16x more powerful. Steppers are typically rated in oz-inches. This is the amount of weight they can hold 1" from the center of the shaft. The stepper can hold 495 ounces. The drill can hold 450 pounds. 16 ounces in a pound. So the drill is equal to a 7200 oz stepper.
