I finally decided on a xylotex kit for my first router table, I have one question (more to come of course): do I need to purchase a breakout box if I buy a xylotex 3axis kit? I was told that for limit and home switches a BB is better to have one I was thinking about the PMDX-122 but only if its necessary. Thanks Pablo |

| Someone posted earlier today that CNC4PC.com is coming out with a breakout board to use with Xylotex, or any other driver with a DB25 connector. I am currently using my home switches directly to the Xylotex, but the connections are not optical isolated, so the potential for a stray voltage making it back to the parallel and the main board is there. Usually a breakout board isolates these from the motherboard, and a high dollar repair bill. My $0.02 Rod |
