I don't remember seeing E05 (motor overload) when I did my install. My motor would spin very slowly. There were two settings that I needed to change: A003 and A004. This seems to be a sticky point for most Hitachi owners. Double check A061/A062 as well.

ok last night I reset according to this:
A001 - 00
A002 - 02
A003 - 400
A004 - 400
A082 - 220
b012 - 7.5
H003 - 2.2
H004 - 2
and it is running for 20 hours now without tripping.
Steve do you hook the x200 to your pc? I'm planning to hook it up to pc but hasn't got a clue of which breakout box and settings.
Thank you Steve.

No, my spindle is not doing anything fancy with the PC. I do have it under on/off control via a relay from my break out board, but that's it. No speed control at this point because the knob on the front of the VFD handles that pretty well.

I've got mine hooked to mach 3 and love it!

Here are my settings:

A001: 01 (terminal input speed control)
A002: 01 (run command from terminal input)
A003: 130Hz
A004: 400Hz
A082: 230VAC
H004: # of poles for your spindle
F001: 400Hz

My 0-10V leads from the BOB are fed into the "O" and "L" terminals. Hope this helps.

I have the 2.2KW watercooled spindle.. how many poles do i have! It never stated.. or came with any documentation.

programming mine now.

MRM the quoted commands below for A001 and A002 are if you want to use a breakoutboard to control the spindle speed right? If you want manual, then use 00 and 02 right?

That's correct; For Manual

A001 = 00
