Im after endmills etc

Hi every one im looking for a good source of end mills etc.

Problem I have is im using a wood router and the smallest Collete is i think 6mm but I need to get a 1mm cutter end mill with a 6mm shank.

I have looked at some end mills etc but they all use a 3mm shank so I have no way of usin them.

If any one knows of a good source IN THE UK that would be great.

Price is important as like others im skint :P hehehe.

thanks all

What you need is a reducing bush.

As you say you are skint then you will find it cheaper to source cutters of your desired size which probably have a 3mm dia shank.

Looking for endmills of 1mm with a 6mm shank will be the most expensive option

Hi there well I have got one coming now thanks to all that helped.

Instead of starting a new thread (I hate to do that for one question)

Im after some kind of gearbox with er25 or so Collette built into it so I can attach a motor of my choice i did see one some where but cant remember where now.

basically its a box with a gearbox in it and on top a shaft to attach a pulley and under it an ER20 or so Collete

thanks again

Hi i replied to thread earlier, and i came here to see if you had another problem.

The problem you now have is that someone who may know the answer to your new question may not answer as the title of the thread is misleading.

So the best way to get an answer to the gearbox question is to start a new thread with the correct title.

HTH
