Need Help! Help with collets for Craftsman Palm Router - CNCzone.com-The Largest Machinist Community on the net!

Hey guys,

I recently had to upgrade my spindle by force (RotoZip to Craftsman Palm Router). It's working out well, since the Craftsman has more power.

The unfortunate thing is, now I can't run my small RotoZip and Dremel bits. Do they make replacement collets for this router? Or is there another brand that fits?

You may be able to find a 1/8" to 1/4" collet bushing. I don't have any links, but I do know they exist.

John, I just happened to find some. Amana makes them for those interested...

I purchased at ToolsToday.com, a large Amana supplier.
