I always dig watching the new machine builds so I figured I'd share some of mine.
I've spent about 7 hours on it so far. Most of the time has been spent on the angled steel bar joining the legs. I did it so I could add some casters to the four outer legs. I'll still provide support for the center legs with a block when in use, but I wanted the added support when moving it around and I wanted them to help keep things square. Anyway, the most time consuming part was aligning the holes on the steel with the t-slots. Once I figured out how to work with the t-slotted material it was just tedious but not very hard work.
Tonight I'll start assembly on the rails, rack & pinion, and gantry. Still waiting on the electronics kit so I'll see how far I get it before I have to stop.

You may want to check out leveler (leveling) caster's.

Thanks Jeff. I had seen those casters on another build but they are out of my price range. I already blew my budget by a few hundred bucks so I had to modify some standard casters to fit to the bottom of the assembly. Who knows, Maybe I'll upgrade to those some day... Specially if I find issues with this thing not being level or square.
