Anybody used these Stepper?

Hi,

I bought three stepper motors from scrap auction. I'm going to use it for my DIY CNC build. But I have no idea about the technical specs of these motors, i.e. torque, revolution etc. These are 4-wire (bipolar) nema23 steppers.

Please share if anybody used these motors.

Torque is probably 50-100 oz-in.

I just have a dumb question....what is the difference between nema23 & 34 from torque point of view?
For instance, I have another nema34 stepper, which is 1A. In same current rating, is it better than nema23?

Without knowing all the specs, it's hard to say.

Nema 23 and Nema 34 are the size of the motor frame. They tell you nothing about the torque.
