Hi - I want to build a small table top CNC router using printer parts. I was pulling a printer apart today and saw that it uses DC motors instead of stepper motors. I know I can just switch them out but at same time I would like to get it working as is. I use Mach 3 software to control my stepper motors on my bigger machine which is in pieces right now. What motor controller would I / should I use to control some small 3 - 5v motors and use Mach 3 as my controller software. Any help and input would be appreciated so thanks in advance... It would be really great if I can make a small table top gantry router from printer parts. Thanks
