Keling DC motor/controler?

Has anyone tied this setup out? I’m considering it as an option for my spindle setup as I progress on my machine, specifically the 2200W 6k max rpm motor/driver setup. Unfortunately Keling has no torque specs listed for the motors and couldn’t supply me with any when emailed.

Currently I an using a Porter Cable 892 as my spindle but lowest speed (10k) is way too fast for my needs (mostly cutting aluminum) As many on this forum I am looking for slower speeds with the option of controlling start/stop, speed and direction. Like many before me I have been toying with the idea of designing/piecing together a custom spindle setup. This keling setup may make the motor/control end a little more achievable. Thoughts?

Hello Brian,
The motor and controller you are looking at is the same basic setup that Syil used on the SX3 mill. It is a good system but my only concern would be that they do not offer the individual parts of that system for replacement parts. My Syil mill has a burned out display and that is the only part of the system that I need as far as I know, but they don't sell the parts individually. I don't think it is right for them to not support the parts with replacements if needed and you might not want to replace the whole system if you ever have a problem. It is a good system at a reasonable price, but you may want to check into availability or replacement parts. Good luck with your spindle which ever way you decide to go.
