Where is good place that sells a cable carrier for cheap? I've seen a DIY cable carrier thread, but have yet to read it through. Anyways please shoot me any websites that you know of! Thank you! |

| You can get them from Mcmaster-Carr, or directly from Igus. Plenty of other places, too.

| When paying a dollar per inch, remember that you don't need the full length of the axis. You only need 1/2 the axis travel plus enough to make the radius bend. the exact length will depend on how tight the chain will bend. The chain length will be about 2/3 or a bit less, than the axis length. No need wasting money on extra chain that will never bend. John |

| Hey thanks for the tip Johnmac! I haven't really given much technical thought to it but that sure helps out, and will keep me on the right page! Thanks again. Regarding the flexible cable they sell is that a gimmick or normal cable will be find bending back and forth? Just a thought. |

| Depends on how tight the radius is. But if you have a finely stranded cable, it should last a fairly long time. I'm using standard 22 gauge stranded cable.
