    Default Probotix Nebula - Progress

Two weeks ago I made the plunge and placed an Order for a Probotix Nebula CNC with the following options.

    - Spindle/Router Mount: 80mm
    - Z Touch-off Puck: Included
    - Spindle: 80mm Air Cooled Spindle
    - Dust Collection: Dust Boot
    - Threaded Inserts and Table Grid: Included
    - Keyboard/Mouse/Monitor Arm: Included
    - 12 pc ER-20 Collet Set

This will be my first CNC and I'm very excited to get started. The current expected ship date is early next week.

I have also purchased VCarve Pro and I'm slowly making progress in understanding the basic functions.

Bought a couple of End Mill sets from Amana Tools, which I hope will be enough for the time being. ....definitely a major expense that I had not initially included in my budget.

    (10) pc. 1/2" Shank General Purpose
    (18) pc. 1/4" Shank Signmaking

I've been needing a dust collector for a while now, but so far I was able to get by with just a shop vac and a cyclone. Went ahead and bought a HF dust collector and a super dust deputy.

    Not completed yet.

What did you use to connect the motor to the super dust deputy? That black pipe?

Sorry for the late reply. Yes, the dust deputy included the plastic black pipe piece that I installed directly to the dust collector.

    Completed a couple weeks ago.

However after doing a couple of small projects, I've come to the conclusion that a CNC is not for me. I learning curve is a bit steeper than I expected and I do not have the time to invest in learning the machine properly. I have it up for sale if anyone is interested.
