Is this a good frame and gantry to build on top of?

I came across this steel frame and gantry for sale. It was previously used for LCD monitor inspections. The size of the base is about 56" x 48". Do you guys think it would be a good structure to build on top of? I was thinking of removing the existing stationary z-axis and put a 3060 extrusion on top of the gantry and add a moving z-axis. Also remove the existing platform and add a larger table to increase the cutting area. I want to be able to mill aluminum. What do you guys think? Thanks.
