    Default Vacuum table inline filter

Hi I am planning out my vacuum table and I intend to use 50mm OD pipework for the manifold. I am stuck on where to source an affordable inline air filter with 50mm or 2" inlet/outlet. I have seen the Solberg filters, but they are not in budget. Could anyone recommend a product or DIY altrnative? I saw this diagram from shopbot: http://www.shopbottools.com/files/SB...umHoldDown.pdf but no reference to the parts used. I would also like to hear what people are using for a relief valve and inlet air filter. thanks.

Typically, a vacuum system won't use a filter like you are looking for. They typically use a round filter in a canister housing, where air is drawn in from the side and exits from the center of the filter. The filters are much larger than the lines that are used for vacuum. The one in the .pdf you linked would be about 8" in diameter for a 2" line.
If you can fabricate a housing, an automotive air filter is an inexpensive option.
