I've just begun working on Joe2006chevy 2006 r2 design. Completion of my machine won't be until winter but I've been playing with the design a bit, built the skate bearings, and am reading everything I can on the building of a CNC router.
A tool I picked up to improve the accuracy of the CNC build project is a drill press vise with an X-Y adjustable table. It's a God-send for drilling holes accurately or plowing short grooves with a router bit. Mine is a 6" vise of a different design than the one I'm showing here but I can't find a picture of mine on the web. I picked mine up at Princess Auto for $50 CDN.
