wow.. Thats a hell of work ...
Thanks Khalid, just to prove that I did work on the GUI here is a screenshot. So it is there and the actual maze algorithm and graphical display are implemented....But the GUI variables are not yet complete and linked to the g-code generation software. I also need to implement a way of storing the complete Maze data (not just the control parameters) so that one does not lose a nice result when exiting. Nothing difficult anymore but tedious work.

The link to the zip file seems to be dead.
Sorry, I removed the zip file. I thought nobody needs it anymore. But it was anyway just an output sample. I have spent the last couple of months (on and off) on my finger/box-joint software and the maze program was put on the back burner. But I am quite confident it will be available sometimes, well, maybe in a few months
If somebody really wants to try I can post another sample output.

.... waits patiently.....
I must have missed this thread when it first got posted. All I can say is nice. "Amazing" work!
O.K., the finger joint software is out of the way and launched. (yay!). This was a MUCH more complex and frustrating project than I thought in the beginning. Although the joints look so simple it was way more difficult than the maze program.
Anyway, now back to work on the maze user interface.....

Looking forward to maze cam also
Any update on the maze software?
Wow, last post was a while ago...now where was I with that software?
Actually the user interface was pretty much finished and I posted a beta that some people tried. It is still here if somebody wants to play with it. I issued a handful of full version licenses for the first few people who could demonstrate a practical experiment and give me feedback.
But, given my project related ADHD I started working on several other projects and never finished the MazeMaker. Sorry about that.

I guess I was waiting for a release so I could make some mazes that are bigger than what the demo allows.
Looking forward to the release of your maze program. Have some gReat ideas to make.
Oh my. This project has been buried very deep in my work pile.
I know I should finish it sometimes but for now I am giving no date for it.
I suspect is has to wait until I retire so please don't hold your breath....

Yay...I unburied the project, fixed the known bugs and added a pretty cool feature, which is the automatic conversion of an imported bitmap image file into the outline of the maze. More information in my machine build log (I know has not much to do with the build itself...).
