Albert,
Great job! I like the A frame support on the Z axis. Do you have any pictures of your slides? Looks interesting.
Bill
Hi guys,
Thought I'd post the URL to the pictures of my first CNC that I designed and built.
The hardest part is waiting to get my repaired board back from Xylotex so I can actually see this baby run. (Blew the X-Axis after getting the last axis finished) Oh well.
BTW, Jeff at Xylotex was very prompt to reply to my query for getting the board repaired. Would highly recomend his products and the service so far has been top notch. Thanks Jeff!
OK, Back to the CNC Specs:
Frame: 1 1/2" X 1/4" Aluminium Tube
Motors: 116 Oz/In X,Y, and Z
Contoller: Xylotex 3-Axis
Work Area: 15" X 7 1/2"
Software: TurboCNC
Lead Screws: 3/8" threaded rod, filed threads
All slides and lead nuts are 1" Delrin
You can view the pictures at http://64.225.80.230/cnc/
I would like to hear your comments and questions on this design.
Thanks,
Albert
