Will check it out
I came here a while back looking for dust shoe ideas.
After looking at several member projects and some commercial products I decided to give it a go and make my own.
I set up a web page with pics and explanation of how I made 3 different size dust shoes with part numbers and links to the vendors I purchased the materials from
Hope someone get some use from the info.

Here's a shot of my 1 inch dust shoe
I attached the two DXF file in AutoCAD 2000 format
Note that this was designed for a Bosch colt router and a K2CNC Bosch holder
Dustshoe1.dxf is the top piece
Dustshoe2.dxf is the top piece
There are several layers in each dxf file
The screen shot below shows what the files should look like
I have had people say that layers are missing when I send them a DXF file, so check yours against my screen shot

DXFs would make things better
(I already have a dust shoe partially made that lacks a brush)
I like the machine setup you have and how you've conquered dust.
I've ignored it for the past year minus shoveling it out once in a while. Then I upgraded to a shopvac with a dust separator.
Now to fix dust at it's source.
Each Router or spindle would be different.
My dust shoe pieces were shaped around my K2CNC Bosch Colt holder, so a DXF would not be much help unless you have the exact same setup.
Also, I did some hand dremel work to expose the Bosch Colt Tool lock button.
Basically, I was just throwing out ideas and materials sources.
Here's a shot of my K2CNC Bosch Colt holder. You can see that the shape would probably not match up with most other spindle and router holders
A lot of people(Microcarve owners especially) use the K2CNC holder with the Bosch colt, along with the precise collets

I attached the two dxf files in post #1
Let me know if you can open them
I can save in several dxf formats but I am not sure which one is more useable
I use CamBam for my CAM work and it imports the two DXF files I attached fine
Here is another thread on a dust shoe. I have a link for a good source for brushes there.

Nice job - looking forward to trying this. Thanks for the post!
