My router is always on. I never use the switch. I have it controlled by Mach3 and a relay. It's also controlled by the superpid2 run signal. Mach3 on a M3 command sends a run signal to the superpid2 and also turns on a relay which is supplying power to from the superpid to the router.

I had though of using a relay, but hasn't gotten as far as looking for a5v relay. What relay are you using colten?

Just a 12v relay. You really need to have a safety interlock though if just using a relay. This is what the superpid provides. without the run signal, the superpid cannot power up the router because the router relay is off.

I run a similar setup but without the SuperpID. Router and shop vac are always on. I use a ssr25. Very convenient having the dust collection and router turning on/off with gcode.

Thankfully Dewalt came through and got me the motor brushes today.

    My old brushes:

And finally got started on a sign I promised to have done by the 28th:

I seen this thing on Reddit, a CNC Machine that rests on top of a stack of plywood.

Looks interesting. It may be a bit flexy in mid span though.

I spend more time thinking of what to do with my scrap wood then anything.
