LINUX emc digitizing

Is it possible to do 3d digitizing using Linux emc software? I'd be using a touch probe

I believe that the answer is yes, but you might get more response to your question in the EMC forum. I guess the question I have is are you really talking EMC or are you talking EMC2. I know that EMC2 supports digitizing but I don't know about EMC.

I know that I have read about some of the guys doing digitizing, but I haven't tried it yet.

Yes it is EMC 2. I'll repost in the EMC forum and see if anyone there knows.
