3d digitizing services in the uk

does anyone know of any 3d scanning services in the uk especially the
midlands????????

any help would be greatly appreciated

What sort of size and accuracy? I ask because I am in the midlands and have some digitizing capability. At the moment only on small objects but I am building a router onto which I have a renshaw probe to mount.

The accuracy I am looking for is at least a tenth of a mm and the size of the object is 550mm by 312 mm approx.

I've been reading your other posts and looked into the Sharp GP2D02...
http://www.junun.org/MarkIII/Info.jsp?item=30# ...It has it's own emitter built in but I think beter accuracy could be obtained by taking the unit apart and increasing the distance between the emitter and the sensor...

Anyways, are you using a laser rangefinder for the system you're building? Very curious.
