I'm investigating building a large scale scanner, 2-100' I've recently picked up a laser tape measure, nice piece of kit, 1/4" accuracy at 100' I'm thinking of a stepper driven gimbal with the guts of the measure on it hooked up to a simple micro processor. Does anybody have a source for a cheap gimbal? |
