| I had played with that a few months ago, it's pretty neat but I couldn't get it to work very well. I think my laser was bad, used a cheap laster leveler. I also had problems with getting the right lighting. Although I think with a little bit of a $$ investment on the proper tools and work area it would work really well. |

| Has anyone tried using a slide projector instead of a laser? It's mentioned in the the 3D for crazies thread, but I don't think anyone tried. It was suggested to use two pieces of electrical tape on a slide to make a slit and use the resulting white line as a "laser". I might try this if I can find a slide projector. Also it looks like the camera used can have a big impact on the resolution of the digitized image. Steve |
