I have a part the I want to re-manufacture. It is flat stock brass, I believe less than .020 thick. It is around 3" x 1 1/2" with small tab on one end. I recall back in the 70's when I worked in a tool and die shop they would do the with a steel rule die? Is this what I need? Im a machinist of 30 years+. I do not work in the tool and die field so I don't know if I can build it myself and if not how much somthing like this would cost. I knwo that there is probably a million questions regarding this but I don't know where to start? |
