I want to build a die to put a nail head on .026" dia. ss wire. Can this be done in one step? Here is a crude drawing. Can I push this into a hole and smash the end into a nail head? or will I have to heat it to put the head on? I am trying to get started in the right direction. Thanks,

| . Hi yes quite feasible without heating the wire. It is called cold heading and usually the machine are very robust and powerful. Brian
