Has anyone ever used a linear axis for rotary spindle control. I have a deskcnc 1st gen. controler on my Hardinge lathe conversion. The a axis is already being used for a rotary tool changer. The spindle motor is a dc servo with 500 count encoder. I know I will likely have to buy 2nd gen. card, but just in case. Frank |
