Hi Dan....no......still doing the learning curve which is why I bought it in the first place.....when I have something to make I'll be ready to go the distance without a calamity in the process......I think I said that a dozen times so far........oh well, being retired means I can do what I want without having to satisfy a schedule not of my own making.
Actually, I do have a number of projects that I can put the mill to good use on, but I also have a huge backlog of home reno projects that keep me busty as well.,,,,,,installing an 8 camera CCTV system is my current project.
I was quite surprised that the 3040 models can do such good work.
This is the 3040 aluminium moving gantry CNC router listed on EBAY isn't it?....... or is the 3040 title just an indication of the work envelope....if so what model is the one in this thread?
BTW....there is a 3040 model on EBAY that lists 1204 ballscrews on all axes....priced at A$1250 approx. and with the 400 Watt motor......that's up from approx. A$850 for the Acme thread screw model.
Ian.
