    ContourCAM and Windows Vista

    Hi again,

We thought, we had a problem, when we tried out ContourCAM with DesignCAD 3D MAX ver. 18 on Windows Vista, but it turns out that there is a solution.

In the ContouCAM Configuration under Setup=>General.. change the DesignCAD 3D path to c:\Progra~1\IMSIde~1\Design~1, then the integration will work.

Another thing is that we use an older version of Help, and Microsoft has decided that this does not come with Windows Vista, so you will get a message saying that you have to fetch the WinHlp32.exe yourself.

You just need to follow the instructions, or find it here http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...0-334cd175d4bb

    Re:ContourCAM and windows vista

Well…..ContourCAM and design card are working with Design CAD 3D MAX ver. 18 with Windows Vista. because DesignCAD creates the folders that ContourCAM easily can installs into at the first run. So If you are working With ContourCAM with windows Vista then you have to be working with Design 3D MAX ver.18……..by using this version I don’t think so that you face any kind of problem.
